Post Adopt Service Providers
Qualification:
The State of Texas offers its adoptive families support in the way of information, referrals, case management, educational advocacy, counseling, crisis intervention, and respite. In order to qualify for Post-Adopt services, the adopted child must have been in the custody of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (TDFPS) at the time of adoption or the family must have received adoption assistance from TDFPS. Furthermore, the adoption must be legally finalized, and the child must be younger than 18 years of age. Providers are selected by Region. See below for current providers.
